# In this episode

Door 10 is Graceland, 1977, and the King is a corporation with a heartbeat that's about to stop. Elvis got so famous he stopped being a man and started being a product line — and products don't get to rest, or say no, or eat like people.

Zero walks the jungle-room excess chasing the light, and the cult is right at home here. They didn't have to file Elvis down. Fame did it for them, one deep-fried banquet at a time.

Gaudy, sad, American — a fable about the bloat that fame calls love. Mind the beige, even in gold lamé.
